Yahoo News with "last updated"

I noticed that Yahoo has been using a subheading under the title of an article that indicates the freshness of a story,
"** minutes ago".

How long has this been going on?

Does this relate to Google news?

Correction - I thought the first three news were coming from Google but they were coming from news.yahoo.com - I wonder if Yahoo will also use Google's news database?

Also, I noticed ads from Overture on various Yahoo serps. Another clear indication of what they're trying to do ;)
