Any way to filter out internal links

I am looking at a competitors links which has over 8000. Mostof them are from their own site. Does anyone know how to see just the links from other sites?

Hi tgreicius,

There is a way to do this although the syntax may differ slightly from search engine to search engine. For example, in AltaVista, you would search on the following:-

link:www.mysite.com/ - host:mysite.com

Have a look at the search tips for each engine to get the specific syntaxt for that engine. Some, like Fast/AllTheWeb, make it easy with an advanced search with fields for "links to" but "excluding links from" and the likes.
