Whilst this has not been too much of a problem in the past, it is now creating some interesting search terms as results are fed in from other engines.
So, for example, 'what I a tool' I am sure should be 'what IS a tool'
keep an eye 'i' out (he says with a PUNishing grin)

I received an email correcting my keyword choice on a site recently, telling me that there had not been even 1 search using the plural that month according to goto, and that I should use the singular. In spite of that appearing to be accurate when checking goto, and the ostensible "authority and reliability" of the source of the advice, I opted to go with the plural, and the site is nicely placed for plural and singular.
Now that you've mentioned it (for which I thank you) I will take more careful note, since I still go round in circles a bit with the plural issue.
I have always tried to use the plural form. Today I had a client who corrected me on the search term of:
auto transports
I just figured that most would type in the plural form but he advised me that most actually type in... auto transport...the singular.
From now on, I will look closely at the industry for help in this area. It seems to vary from industry to industry and from product to product. Many times the search results are very different between singular and plural searches.
