Google Dance: Is this the longest ever?

It seems this Google update has been going on for two weeks already, and I checked just now, and it's still not over. Last month I think it was about a week. I remember when it lasted only a few days.

Has Google run out of space? Is this the result of the latest SPAM attack on Google? (Google won't complete the update until it has purged the SPAM?) What's going on?

Top or high SERP on three of my websites, which had all been steadily high for years, are all suddenly down. (Adsense revenue is slashed by 50%.)

Trying to figure out when the dance is over and if Google has a new algo before I plan a comeback...
