This year I started a new site just called “blankityblank.com”, which has a much broader theme, more pages, articles, etc. I’m moving all of my product pages to this new site, so the address of the new product page (the page with the 90 links pointing to different products) is “blankityblank.com/widgets”. This page has a zero rank.
My old site is now defunct, everything is going into the new site. I was thinking of making each of the 90 links on the old product page point to the new “blankityblank.com/widgets”. Would that be a good idea? Or would Google like it more if I used a permanent redirect? And if so, should I do a redirect for the whole page, or one for each of the 90 links?
By the way - transferring traffic is not really a concern, since it has pretty much died in the last few months while I’ve been running the new site.
Thanks,
Phil
