Google Groups oddity

This seemed the best place for a Google-related note, but not specific to any of the other sub-catagories - feel free to move it if I'm wrong.

Now the note: I just posted something to a Google Group as I often do using the web interface. After posting the usual screen shows up with a couple of new things at the bottom:

Internal Only: Don't Panic!
MessageAppearance: ( Normal CardsTest1 )
GroupNavStyle: ( Groups3 Groups25 )

Looks like they are testing something new :-)

I thought Google Groups was something of the past. Perhaps they are trying to make it into something of the future?
