Photo Gallery showing description from another page

On a photo gallery i manage, I just noticed that Google is listing one page for the search term but picking up the description from another page (i.e., the term searched for lists a gallery page but the description comes from a page inside that gallery describing one of the paintings).

This may have something to do with Google trying to conserve space on it's servers--only listing the main pages but compensating for that by adding descriptions from the deeper pages.

All the affected pages are at one level but not linked from home page so the gallery is listed from another page, i.e.,

main page-> main painting page -> the gallery page-> the description that was used for gallery page.

Anyone else see this oddity?
