How do you tell when you have made the Google search without going through the whole list? Is there an easy way and how long cna this take? Thanks.

You can find which of your pages are in Google's results by entering this as the search query:

site:my.domain.com

and all of the pages that Google has from that domain will be listed.

But this won't tell you where in the results your pages come.

A tracking device on your site will tell you.

Try "Extreme tracker"

You can also set up a Google Sitemaps account at:

[google.com...]

If you're in the index, Sitemaps can tell you which search terms people are using to find your site, and what the highest ranking for your site is using each search term.

Hope that helps,

ASA
