Does anyone have any ideas why Google places a web site number one on page 1 when two search terms are incorrectly joined together but not when they are entrered correctly with a space between them.

For example, the website has a title < word1 word2 word3 word4 word5>. If this title is entered into google, it does not return the site within its index at all but if one enters <word1 word2 word3word4 word5> where term3term4 are placed together without a space (word3word4), the website comes top of the list.

This is truly bizarre.

One of the first things I would do is check the page to see if I didn't make a typo and actually enter [word3word4].

Maybe there is a link to site which contains word3word4 in anchor text?
