When searching for content with quotes from our site, we notice weird things.

1) Even though the page is indexed by Google, none of the content is being returned when searching for sentences in quotes.

2) Some of the content will be returned, while other content from the page will be not be returned.

Why would either be occurring?

How old is your site?

The oldest part of the site has been online for about 6 months.

But I have been adding sections and pages weekly and daily.

and these are sentences absolutely unique to this page?

if so...then possibly Google, as part of their (and I hate to use this phrase) "sandbox" strategy only grabs sections of a page as it slowly works to include this relatively new page (six months) into the index...(as long as it is not duplicating content found on any other pages returned for the same keyword/phrase search...)

just a tired thought (been pulling an alnighter here working on a project)...

Unique to the page? Yes, there are 0 results returned when searching for the content.

Sandboxing means only partially crawling a page?
