Pages Now Re-appearing

Hi,

My site now is repoting to have 140.000 pages. Last week It dropped from 120.000 to 33.000 until this morning.

Are you finding the same as us in yours sites?

Glad you're one of the folks who are seeing better numbers on the site: query. Was your traffic also affected, or just the results of site: operator?

The reason I ask is that in this thread [webmasterworld.com] Google told us that there was a technical problem with site: results, but it didn't affect the regular search. We know they are working on a fix for that. But if you are now recovering traffic, then your report would be a new kind of good news.

Yes, Yesterday we had a 50% more visit per day than the last week.

Last friday we began to work in our site trying to resolve some canolical and duplicate content issues but the pages returned before we applied the changes.
Now, the site operator is reporting a total of 178K. 8K more than yesterday but oddly, we are loosing visitors again.

Good on you..but it will help if you can tell us which DC you are getting your good results. Also have you check that all the DC are returning all your pages..

After big daddy I went down to 17k pages, but it has been increasing steadily since then and now I am back at ~34k pages again. Which was normal before big daddy. (but not 60k as 3 months ago)

So things looks better.
