One of my sites, which has been in the ranking wilderness since last September is back with a bang. On all DCs.

Don't know how long this recovery is for. Shall keep you posted.

This is a news website. Original content written by journalists. Some 10 % could be press releases.

We had suspected penalties due to:

1) links from thousand of scrapers
2) Dupe content penalty due to press releases
3) a 302 hijack by someone who created thousands of subdomains with my content, cloaked it, fed it GBot, and offered pages on dating to visitors. From Romania I think.
4) www - non-www canocical issues (my non-www canonical pages are still there in DCs)

All looks like normal now, Adsense revenue is shooting up, visitors are back to pre-september per hour levels.

All we need now is for the dream to last.

If there are any lessons for you guys to learn from this, do ask me the questions, and will try my best to answer. Even if I go back to oblivion, there could be something there for us to learn.
