This is just odd.

The 64.* DC's return about 300 pages from my site.

The 216.* DC's return about 46,000 pages from my site.

And the 66.* return 69,000 pages from my site.

Currently I have about 65,000 pages.

If I go to google.co.uk I get 46,000 pages. If I go to google.com from my US based server I get the same 46,000 results.

It is all very odd and confusing.

The Importance of Watching Google Datacenters.. before, during and after an Update

Hi Folks

Mostly its fellow members whos sites have been affected for different reasons who keep open eyes on the DCs. However, those fellow members who are already doing well on the serps are also watching just to be sure that their sites preserve their ranking during changes and updates.

Some of the folks hope that an update shall correct the canonical problems.

Some are looking for an end to a penalty that caused their sites to lose ranking.

Some are praying that an update will bring a solution for the supplementals that cover thgeir sites listing.

And others wish just to see improvements of their sites ranking as a result of their whitehat/blackhat SEO efforts :-)

One thing they all have in common; Watching changes on Google Datacenters.

The watching process is a continuos one. To see changes during an update requires that you have already been studying the DCs before the updates starts.

During an update you shall see all kind of changes, off and on all the time.

After the update, when you think that its time to relax, the traditional everflux period will start and changes might happen there too.

All above require time, watching "energy" and strong nerves.

And a worning!

Watching Google Datacenters pre-, during and post- an update isn't something for the weak souls. The watching process might bring frustrations and anger too. If that happen, and I'm sure it will. Please lets be kind and nice in our postings.

Wish you all a successful Google Datacenters Watching.

God bless WebmasterWorld community.

YES BIGDADDY!

I've seen top results before with an extra indent listing but not an indent including 7 different ways to our site with wonderful keyword text links! Oh I must get another glass of wine and look more on this....West coast here so it's 1am then will goto bed.

Hmmmz

Not really seeing much movement in my area as of yet - if there has been a change accross most DCs it maybe another Data Refresh or something that is independent of BD.

Not seeing any improvements in sites which have Canonical and Hijack issues.

No fixes or anything like that, but a significant amount of changes. The spam du jour is still blog spamming the hell out of a garbage free page on a "trusted" megasite. Google still just has an awful time recognizing niche authority (though waaaaaaay better than their competiton of course).

I agree I am not seeing any major changes over the last week or so either.

Big Daddy is rolling out but the new datacentres are revolving results with default so they are not permanently Big Daddy.

I agree there may have been a data refresh as some double results are now single.

Other than that no real change IMO

Sorry can't see changes either. Maybe it's because I did not have my cappuccino this morning yet (espresso macchina is already switched on).

Results are the same as in the last few days. I can see two different data sets. One of them should be BD.

I moved my forum into another directory last september so that Google had to recrawl them. On BD I can see only a small part of the forum posts while in non BD DCs there are ten times more posts.

So let's wait and see. I hope that the forum will be back again soon. Maybe the update starts somewhere else and will come across the ocean soon?
