i report the same site as spam before jagger and after jagger with keywords jagger1,2,3 but no results they arenot working as we work i thinkAlso keep in mind that they may be getting a letter [webmasterworld.com] from Google outlining how to keep their site in Google's good graces.
I repeat what PhraSEOlogy said
Solution: Spam & cloak, spam and cloak.
So my solution is to have Spam sites as "Main sites" and few Genuine, white hat sites as "backup" so that they would work if some thing goes wrong with the algo :)
Yes, get up early and not much difference.
GG - any indications on what stage we are at Order Level 1 - or Order Level 2?
Also is likely to be done on a site by site basis - eg as I said yesterday - some sites might get order level 2 applied while some sites are still having order level 1 applied?
The homepage got crawled the day before yesterday as I said - this has appeared as a crawled page in the serps (although no cache data for some reason :()
It is in second place on the site:domain.com search on the Jagger3 DCs (I was hoping that order level 1 would have put it first)
>>>The Father of All Canonicals Sites :-)
To be fair it appears I only have a Homepage Canonical Problem (as corrected by g1smd and steveb in the last thread) - but I guess that is the worst page to have the problem on :(
What has happened to your site then - this has happened to mine - is this not a problem?
Pfffft.
OK, I will ask a question you might be prepared to answer - is there still some settling down to do of Canonical problems - or is that it?
Or maybe this will shake out a bit more with a crawl or two?
Has Jagger3 blended?
Do you want Canonical url reports now?
Thanks
Dayo
Matt just wrote on his blog:
"Jagger3 was visible starting at 66.102.9.104 around 11/4/2005. Jagger3 is not widely visible yet (it might also be at 216.239.51.104), but I expect it migrate to other data centers over time."
If possible, do you have an approximate date where one can say; Jagger Update is over?
I recall, you were kind during update Bourbon to give an approx date of the end of the update.
Thanks.
Reported some spam again though, found a company "seo" related with sub domains like "seo-kw1.domain.com" "seo-kw2.domain.com" "seo-kw3.domain.com" that using these and cross linking domains found a way on the first page for almost all keywords.
The same issue was seen a few months ago if I remember for voice over talent related keywords.
Not easy to to monitor that I guess, but that reminds my of the class C ip filters, should not these be filtered somehow?
I can see my homepage cache is updated on Jagger3 DCs:
9 Nov 2005 04:14:56 GMT
Otherwise it stayed for looooooonge time on 22 Sept 2005.
Jaggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer3.. I Love ya :-)
Oh Google! You Are Simply The Best.. Better Than All The Rest :-)
