ha, will have to agree arubicus. My site got dumped in Sept, then came back in Dec 22, and now is back to pre Dec 22nd levels.

Havent changed anything and only have added some new content along the way yet the big flux - and i mean big flux of traffic from G.

Still working on getting better foothold in Y and new MSN for main site so this big flux doesnt hurt me as much in future.

Never once has this happened to any of our sites. It just happens to be our main bread winner on this one. But as the story goes...we will have to wait and see.

It floor me how I use the company name + a keyword and we are no where to be found. It is like the domain name (proper one of a kind name mind you) is useless. In other searches we can find the page. It is like there is no URL weight.

Actually I change that from MSN to looksmart. I think looksmart has better results right now than google. LOL

I do have faith that Google will do something about these serps before the public takes notice.

Just relax folks there is no way google will continue to display these serps. They would have to be a fool if they did!

backlinks appear to have been updated [216.239.37.104<...]

A few hours ago I had a backlink increase when I checked the above. Now it is back to normal. Anybody else seeing backlink changes anywhere?

Man - this dancing or whatever you want to call it makes me nuts

If this is really going to be an old style dance it's waaaay to early to go nuts.

I'm not sure though. I don't see any difference in the data centers for the words I'm checking.

My top keyword has moved from 7 to 6 but it's the same across the centers. That's not dancing.

Why google made this worse update? One of my unlucky site (be cloned, be 302 hijacked... since May 2004) is played by this update again@_@. When I search my domain name (without www. and .tld), my site goes nowhere, but www.domain.tld.1bu.net is on page 2 of the serp. My site was just back at Dec update and now it goes on holiday again. Acording to Al-Jazeera, Microsoft sent a spy to google datacenter to press the "invert serp" button yesterday. Google spokesman did not deny this, he said "our perfect technology predicted this and we've already pressed this button on Dec 2004. The spy just helped us to make serp back".

I am not seeing any major movement for my site.

I only have a single site ( but it is large ) so perhaps I don't have enough to compare.
