Do any former employees of Google post here and if so who are they, and if not where are they?

They're in ex-employee protection programs... once in, never out.

Just like the Mafia -- they will throw you in the ocean with "Cementa Shoes" if you ever quit. <G>

Honestly I think they all retain their jobs - they would be stupid to leave (unless of course Yahoo was trying to recruit them!)...

They exist. They even have their own web page [oompa-loompas.net].

It gets worse for Deployment Engineer openings...
[google.com...]

It states: "Must have current government top security clearance (TS/SI)."

Interesting!
Could the upcoming hostilities have anything to do with the delay in the dance.

Hi all, got the enviable job of watching for the dreaded (dare I mention it on this thread?) update from my Boss and was so amused by the "ex google employees" website, I just had to join the forum to congratulate atadams - wonderful! Hope there are a few more jokers out there to keep me happy during the vigil.

I'm just surprised that none of the technical crew have popped up with a SEO company which no doubt would receive a great deal of interest. My money would be on them at least in the short term.

Craig - yes, having trawled through the 675 message on THE thread I am beginning to agree, but, hey I only have to watch for a couple more hours until my boss is back. The way things are dragging on "young googler" (top left) on sem4u's link will be old enough to join in!

Don't know of many former employees of Google, but I'd be curious to hear about former employees of search engines in general. Just ran across a mention of EDGAR IQ, which was formed by four ex-WiseNut employees, for example. And Matt Wells used to be at InfoSeek, right? Any other people doing interesting things?
