Freshbot Listing for "Banned" Site

Is this good news?

Prior to the last update my site (one of them) had PR6.

Last time out it was "banned" ie grey PR, possibly to do with inadvertent and (for reasons I won't bore you with)unavoidable multiple URLs pointing to the same site.

Since then:

1) managed to get DMOZ updated to reflect preferred ("banned") URL.

2) Sent reinclusion request and explanation to Google.

3) Put a 301 on most of the other URLs, including one that had been heavily indexed.

A couple of things have happened since then:

(a) I have a freshbot (3 March) listing for the "banned" URL - only comes up on a site:myurl wordonpage search and not on a straightforward search, but it is good to see it in the Google results in any circumstances

(b) freshbot all over the site yesterday picking up lots of pages, including some well nested, from that URL (no results from those yet).

Instead of idly speculating about the update, would anyone care to speculate (idly or otherwise) about my chances of reinclusion?

good luck to all when it does come!

Hi HenryUK,

Yeah, sounds like you have a good chance of being back in, i dont think fresh bot would bother you otherwise ;o)

Good luck

What is it that they say, it's not the despair that gets you, it's the hope...

I'm glad you put quotes around the "banned". Most cases where people decide they are "banned" or "penalized" they are not.

It looks like they just missed you last month for some reason.

Yes, a grey toolbar doesn't mean a ban, it would more likely be a PR or two lower or a white toolbar (not grey).
