Is this new at google?

Is this a new feature? I had never noticed it.

I conducted a search at google.com, and at the bottom of the page I get a link which leads me to a form I can use to manifest my dissatisfaction with the results and even mention an specific URL I was expecting to find.

Anybody getting any feedback from this form?

I'm pretty sure it's been there for a awhile. I remember seeing it before, thought I can't rememeber where.

You don't see this message very often because it's generally on the last results page - most searches return many results so you never get to the last page and this message.

If your search 'foo', you can see it at the bottom of the 1st results page:

It has always been on the bottom of the first results page for me. I have used it many times with NO success. Of course I imagine they use the aggregate results from this form to improve overall search relevance rather than for fixing problems with individual searches.

Kind of strange asking you if you were looking for a specific url and ask you what that url is? Isn't the whole point of a doing a google search finding a url you don't know of? (note: not including all those people that search for www.hotmail.com in google ;) )

I think it's not as much about the URLs but about the information you wanted, might help them update their "dictionaries", like in the Google Sets, which basically tests themeing.

Not necessarily, Daamsie: Quality may also be a question about irrelevant hits in the SERPs.
I once used the form to report a content spammer who had thousands of nonsense-words on every page and who re-directed unwary surfers to his p*rn site. Those pages, BTW, are gone from Google now.

I've tried it and found the 'dissatisfied' link as expected.
The funny thing I've seen is that at the very bottom of the page is a light blue box, like the sponsored links with the words "Shameless Self-Promotion"

I've never seen that before on any search ...

Are people using Google with their eyes closed? ;)

I guess it's testament to Google's results - no-one looks anywhere else.
