Early on 27th, for first time in the ten months at the current host, bandwidth ceiling was hit.
Bada bing, Bada boom.
Hard lesson learned ... if it's the 25th and you're close to bandwidth ceiling, do NOT, repeat, do NOT, make the naive mistake I did and think, "only 3 more days in Feb, we'll just slip under the wire."

I got busy on Thursday (so did the site it seems) and site crashed headfirst into a bandwidth brick wall. "Oh well, only 30 hours left in the month, no biggie, just ride it out."

Second hard lesson learned .... never, ever assume only a few folks, if any, will notice... I finally got caught up on emails today. "oh well, everything is back to normal, no real harm done ... fortunately, it's all behind me now.

Third hard lesson learned ....
If Freshbot should visit when there is a 509 Bandwidth Exceeded error page replacing your main page, well, guess what gets put in the cache and in Alllllllllllllllll the google supplied SERP's in the exact same position where your main page and description USED TO appear?
Here's a hint, it ain't purty!
Oh well, as we often discuss with our scouts and Venturers, there are no failures ... only hard lessons learned on the road to improvementville.
Anyways, now that I went and cybershot my big toe off, anyone gots a big ol' bandaid I can use?
all this talk of the impending update has really motivated me to get my site in order..
