Just got page rank 4 on brand new url

Is this an indicator update is starting?

I just got PR4 on a new url. Up from grey bar.
Does this mean update may be starting.

Great! I'm happy for you. I'm still staring at a PR0 AND a 2 month old cached index..ugh. Oh well, This one isn't commercial anyways

Just checked two of my keywords on www-in and www-cw. Dramatic differences. But strange things have happened before.

Unfortunately no big news yet - we gotta wait some time more, I´m afraid :-(

I feel confident from all of the other threads that Monday (Mar 3) will be the day.

I have a little ol' 1-page "site" that went online a week ago, it already has PR5. Either the Toolbar is getting crazy or Google has changed the speed at which they display the guesstimated PR...or calculate the real PR. At this moment, I don't think this is a Toolbar glitch. Some other kind of game is afoot (apologies to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle....)

OneTooMany, on what do you base your prediction?

I lost my PR5 2 months ago, and now after some change in the slow past 2 months i am having PR7 for all my pages (main page, Catagory page and the item page). I hope that is going to last more than a day.

GoogleGuy wrote earlier today that we should all take a few days off.

Others have been speculating that updates typically come a few days after some of the bot activity that has been going on.

Well, if GoogleGuy states that we all should take a few days off I´d rather take it as an contra indicator.

He just wants us all to leave so he can have his private conversation here with Brett about the new index ;-)

False alarm.
My new url is still grey.
Google tool bar acting weird.

If I go from a PR7 site to my new url, is shows PR7 on my new url, even if I refresh a few times.

Same goes with coming from a PR5 site, or any other site with PR.

The update on the 3rd thing seems to be just a rumour. Has anyone ever consistently predicted when the update will be. Checking the archives it doesn't appear so.
