how often does Google change their content

A bunch of my websites dropped from the tops to the bottom in Google. I have redon some of them ans resubmitted using Inktomi. It seems to me that MSN and some others change their content almost daily. How often does Google? I am checking every day. Do they only change once a month or so?

Google doesn't change in quite the same sense as Inktomi does, but there are changes all month in between updates, which is why sites often experience unexpected ups and downs.

The actual update that's the "real thing" takes place once a month, at which time Page Rank is recalculated, so that's when we can have a fairly reliable idea of the positioning of our sites, which isn't the case with the Fresh updates that go on all month.
