How many bytes or words does Freshbot read?

Somewhere a long time ago, I read a study on how many bytes Googlebot reads on a page. I cannot find that study, but my question now is does anyone have any data on how many words Freshbot reads or how many bytes? Does anyone know yet whether Freshbot only reads the fresh stuff towards the TOP of the page, or does it go also to fresh stuff placed for it at the bottom of a page? Any thoughts are appreciated. I don't mean to impose, I know you are all busy with the upcoming Dance. My links are in place. Did you notice that Freshbot is now reading the title on the front of the page as well as the html title? Is this to correlate relevancy? I adjusted all our titles today so that the title on the front MATCHES exactly the html title. I do not know how you guys and gals do it who have thousands of pages! 53 is wearing me O-U-T! I believe that freshbot looks at as much as the deepbot, 101K, if I understand the question properly. I wouldn't think that where the fresh content is on the page would matter in regards to freshie seeing that the page has changed.

Thank you, Stefan! The client insisted on the fresh stuff being moved to the bottom of the page where the visitors most likely will not see it. The index page has 61,942 bytes so we should be OK. Have not seen Freshbot for over 24 hours and a little worried, but will let you know. The last fresh date we had was Feb. 20th. We are pretty much ready for the Dance, at least I hope so. Thanks again!

Hi, Stefan: We had two visits from Freshbot last night, the 22nd both around midnight. Only picking up our index page, but that is enough to keep site on page 1 and 2 of Google for our keywords. You were RIGHT I think. Freshbot must be able to read at the bottom of our site where I desperately make HUGE changes every day. Maybe the Dance will give us a PR5. Hopefully. I only do legit SEO. I learned from you guys and gals. THANK YOU ALL! No sign of the Dance yet...our 53 page (what for you all is teeny) site is ready for the Dance... I truly admire all of you! Your skills are outstanding! I am a poor wannabe at the end of the line...

Glad to hear that freshie has been by again, Xerxes. It hit my site pretty heavy last night... I guess it was just having a break.
