is there still time to update website before google update

the google update happens. if i make changes to my website
will it appear in this google update or next month.

This question is asked so many times, and I am going to post what I think on the topic.

If you have updated pages upload them forget about Google, think about the viewers to your site, for you Google may well be important to bring in people but ultimately it is those people who are the most important.

So ultimately forget about the update, and update as and when you can, if you do Google will know about it anyway.

It is late in Thailand so am just going to say you should worry more about your viewers than Google.

Your pages won't show up in this month's google update, but they will probably show up intermittantly throughout the next month due to the freshbot crawling.

thumbs up. i myself started even to think about hmm, is it good, is it bad hmm, - whatever, i decided not to fell google decisions about my website. i stay strong and idependent. the only thing i ever did was for a redesign that can handle all indexed links and redirect them to the actual url now if someone clicks on a link of an 'outdated page' (a page of the old website).

anything you upload now will most likely not show up until the end of March.

Thailand is right. This question is asked more times than I can remember.

Simple rule. Plan your content 30-60 days out.

It has been my experience that anything changed during the week to 10 days after the dance will probably get included anything after that is hit or miss.

You do have time to make changes to your site before the update, but those changes will not appear in the new index. As others have noted, these changes may show in the SERPs because of Freshbot.

This is a good idea, but you may want to also make sure that if you make changes to your site that remove content (taking down the old and putting up the new), you may want to archive the old instead of removing it. Someone may have come to your site looking for something that is no longer there because it was replaced with something new, and that wouldn't be good for the user.

update your site, you don't have anything to lose, if you don't update your site these days you will miss the next update also .
