I know that the toolbar has a page ranking system, but does google have a web based tool aside from the toolbar that can tell me the pagerank of a site?

such a tool is not available :(. that's really a pitty because not everyone want's to install ie and that browser bar. i hope google will release such a tool on their website in the future.

Nope - none out there. They violate Googles TOS and are shut down asap.

I guess I'm stating the obvious but Google lists the page rank in its directory. You can use any browser to see it and you don't have to even visit the site.
