Hi All,

I am waiting for my pages to be in the index. I only care about google.

spiders from 64.*.*.* and 216.*.*.* have visited me for more than 2 weeks now, and I am not in the index yet :(.

Am I banned or i should wait till the next update?

Thank You

Any day now we should see something.

Maybe.

This update is going to be a doozy, so just stand outside and listen for the webmasters to start screaming. You'll know when it starts. ;)

What makes you beleive that this one is going to 'be a doozy'?

I have no basis in fact for saying this, but, if the spiders have been actively visiting, I think that's probably a good sign. Yes - wait until after the update; it's probably only a week or so away now. Don't do anything rash ;-)

Don't know if it's just me but it feels like a long time since the last update to me!

The crawl was LOOOONG and Deep this month - even the freshbots are going deep for the past week or so.

Every time we have an update at Google, people go nuts & come of of the wood work & post here like crazy.

I believe that's what Grumpus means.

I believe that the Google dance is a tarantella.

Yes, the 216.* is the 'deep' crawler, the other 64.* is the freshbot. :)

according to some previous post, we got the normal 216.*
deepcrawler, and the 64.68.82.* fresh crawler, but now also
the 64.68.84.* deepspider
