I've just been looking at Brett's update history chart and it shows that in the last 12 updates, 3 have been 23rd or earlier. It also shows that this hasn't happened for 5 updates so surely we must be due an early one!

I think you could be right, I am no Google expert but I am seeing unusual behaviour from Mr G in my logs, that has never happened before :)

Remember that Google update when they will and can. And they do not feel the tendencies in update history to be an obligation. And they do like to surprise us.
But an early update _would_ be fine. Some of my pages really need an update.

In that case I would be very surprised for the update to happen soon although the last two Febs have been 19th and 20th and there's only 28 days anyway.
