For the past week, whenever I run a Google search, a new frame titled "Enhanced Search Results" is opened. It takes up the left third of the screen and contains exactly 5 links somewhat related to my search topic. It also shows up when I run searches with Alta Vista or MSN, but only with Internet Explorer, and only on one computer.

I've spent hours trying to remove it. Help!

Try downloading ad-aware and then hopefully it should go away.

You have some form of adware on your desktop. Download Adaware at adaware.com and run it. This is a free program that detects and removes most of the common adware programs.

Damned be the criminal marketer that devised gator, comet cursor, and the rest of that crap.

You can try spybot as well.

Adaware and Spybot do not yet have removal tools for this one. We had to manually remove it.
