Hello.

I've got within my page (www.foo.com/dir/page.html:
----------
<base href="http://www.foo.com">
<a href=myfile.html>
---------
in order to link to [foo.com...]

And it works fine for me, at least. But I've found these entries within my log page:
[client 64.68.82.56] File does not exist: /dir/myfile.html

So GoogleBot is trying to get 'www.foo.com/dir/myfile.html' instead of 'www.foo.com/myfile.html'.

Does anybody have any experience? Regards.

[client 64.68.82.56] File does not exist:

salson,

It looks to me like you have the same problem described in this recent thread [webmasterworld.com].

buckwork's explanation in post #3 will likely be helpful to fix your problem.

HTH,
Jim

Thank you jdMorgan.

I've just changed it, and I'm waiting for the next DeepCrawl.
