Greyed out toolbar on home page, PR5 inside pages.

How is this possible?

One of my sites had a PR 6 on the home page and PR5 on the inner pages, we were also ranked #1 for our main keywords. Recently the home page has disappeared form the index although we still rank ok for the internal pages (not # 1 though). The toolbar is greyed out for the home page but continues to show a PR 5 for the inner pages.

A similar situation exists with backward links, nothing shown for the home page (index.html) but quite a few (all internal links) for the other pages.

Has anybody had a similar experience, I am hoping that it is a glitch that will resolve itself after the next update.

Have you had a server problem? Maybe the server was down temporarily when Googlebot came for a sniff? Yes, I think you shouldn't worry about it.

It sounds like a temporary glitch. Don't worry about it. MSN as mentioned on another thread is in a similar situation this month. PR0 main page and interior pages have PR.
