google deep crawl with ip (216) has been coming and going to my web site since feb 6th. Problem is that it looks at all my pages except the ones in my drop down menue, and ther are about another 100 pages in there.. what can i do to direct the spider to the drop down menu? should i build a site map? or should i just wait.

I would build a sitemap. In my experience, drop down menus are not accessible for most spiders. You could even use <noscript> tags as an alternative and see how you go.

If that drop down is Javascript, (betting it is :) directing the spider there won't help. Create a site map and Googlebot will feast on those unscripted links.

I don't think as many people look at drop down links as much as traditional links either so if you want them visited a different method may be better. Most surfers scan and drop downs can't be scanned.

Or if your site isn't too big, you can always create plain text links at the bottom of each page.
