How do I find out my PR?

I have Google Toolbar installed so I should be able to see my homepages PR. However, I'm not sure that the PR I'm viewing is my true PR. That's because we redirect all our visitors from www.ourdomain.com to www.ourdomain.com/cgi-bin/ (so that we can serve dynamic content). Therefore it's impossible to view the PR of www.ourdomain.com using the google toolbar.

How can I find out the PR of www.ourdomain.com?

Leif

Hej Leif (I assume you're Swedish!),
Is your site listed in Google's directory? In that case you can check the green bar next to your listing and try to figure out your PR.

First you should check the Google cache for www.yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/

If both cache pages show the same URL in "This is G o o g l e's cache of..." then they have been merged and the Toolbar PR should show the same for each, with just one listed. If both URLs appear in search results then this won't be the case.

If you are able to change your DNS to point your domain to an IP that won't issue a redirect, then your browser will rest on that URL and the Toolbar will be able to report the PageRank.
