Haven't been able to find an answer to this.
I apologise if I've missed it.
Anyway...
Been getting a good ranking in Google for my website lately.
A few weeks ago, I updated my website and totally revamped it. I kept the same names of the pages from before (and added a few more).
I used to be a able to go to google and search for my site and get a cached page of EVERY page on my website.
Now since the last crawl (and my update) I only have the old index.shtml page cached and I'nm not showing in Google at all for any keyword searches.
Has anyone come accross this before?
Is it normal?
When will it update so that I get referers again from google?
TIA
OSX
I have seen the same thing happen on one of our sites (just today, in fact)... It appears that all the newly crawled pages have been removed from googles cache (and results) and only the pages that were crawled in early January remain. I tried site:www.mydomain.com keyword to verify this... I have no idea what could have happened.... but will let you know if I findout anything.
