I noticed that the freshbot was visitng my site and the sites of my competitor as of late last night. I have just noticed that it has stopped looking at my site and a few other but is still looking at other sites and has been for a few hours. Is there any real reason why freshbot would appear to spend a few hours longer looking at one site as apposed to another.

How do you know it was visiting your competitor's site?

Very few people outside Google - if any at all - fully understand the nature of freshbot. But there seem to be some tendencies. If you would like to have many fresh listings in Google, it's good to

1. Have inbound links from several websites that are visited a lot by freshbot.

2. Have a decent PR.

3. Update (some of) your pages often.

4. Create new pages frequently.

5. Have valid HTML code on your pages.

6. Have textlinks that are easily found and read by freshbot.
