Hello all,

I manage a site that is not at all displaying in google results for the request "<keyword phrase>" whereas this keyword is visible in the <title> tag of the site.

But the keyword is not present in the <body> section of the site....

I would like to know if this is the reason why this site can't be ranked....

Thanks in advance for your answers

David

The keywords need to be in the actual body section of the site.

So, does it mean that if the keyword is present ONLY in the title tag and not in the body tag, the site will never be ranked in google for this keyword?

not in the body tag

I think your terminology has been confused.

If the keyword is not text on the visable page (between the body tags <body>here</body>) then there is nothing to score against other competitive pages... in this case the title will rank you but more than likely very very low in results... +1000 in most instances.
