Sorry to go on but it's nearly a week after the update started and google uk is still not showing the filtered version of the updated results. Does that seem right or is something amiss?

I've seen some new results but mostly not. Can I give you an example.

We added a new site recently and it is showing on the UK version

Our sites are showing but many of the listings do not correspond. Why would we be listed higher for terms on .com than on .uk when the uk is a filtered version?

I'm just really confused and worried that something is not right and the listings will eventually disappear altogether.

My results on .com show a new date every day and the .uk results just say cache.

This might be related to a problem i'm having where searches on the .com show my site doing well, but searches in the .co.uk don't even return my homepage!

All they return is a couple of pages from deep in my site near the end of the serps and the homepage doesn't appear to have even been indexed, even though this is fine on the .com...

It's very strange and it hasn't changed. Top on .com and nowhere in .co.uk

What's most likely to happen in the next update. Is it some kind of a blip?

edneil & receptional_Andy - what you are describing sounds very similar to what Igloo was trying to fathom in this thread:

Google getting locations wrong from IP addresses [webmasterworld.com]

It sounds as though something has changed this last update that is related to the regional filter, but isn't as clear-cut as simply removing a 'non-UK' (ie not recognised as being British) site from the UK results. Hopefully it is a blip and normal service will be resumed next update.

I have always found that the "UK filter" on Google is less than logical.

It manages to remove non UK sites, but sometimes to seem to inexplicably promote UK sites from nowhere on world to a high ranking with the UK filter - above other UK sites that do well on world.

I have never really been able to fathom their UK filter - they probably cannot either!
