Ranking suddenly disappears

I had a good ranking at 11th on a competititve phrase.
Now I can t find a listing for it in top 5 pages, although my other less comeptitive phrases are still in top positions.

I know there is a shuffling about just now and secondary engines are used, but how can I know if i will re appear or do I need to completely re tweak the page for this term?

Is it a new site? if it is i would just wait and see what happens, there is usually quite alot of jumping around even between updates.

Concentrate on building links and adding to the site and worry about it after the next update.

ast: I'm curious to know - is your page disappearing when you've been fresh crawled? And if so, does it reappear when Google reverts to the monthly index (as it does for me every few days)
