What I'd love to see on google is the ability to customize the serps. They have their default results, but I'd love to be able to sort (not search) within the results on an "advanced" page (or the search within results page), in order to get more relevancy.

So here are a bunch of examples I'd like to see:

1. Restrict listing to one domain only and
2. Sort results by domain alphabetically
3. Sort results by title alphabetically
4. Allow some form of multiple sorting our way, in other words give us a few fields to choose from and sort in order of A,B,C,D.
5. G has a score for each serp, allow us to "modify" the result a little by letting us choose the importance of the "score". So for example, let us say we consider anchor text of utmost importance...or of no importance...or data ON THE PAGE to be more important...or Title is more important.
6. Along the same lines, the ability to say I want to see directory sites first, or content sites first or forum-type sites first, or educational sites, or commercial sites, or NONcommercial sites...etcetera...
7. This would be nice but would probably never happen, order it in terms of pagerank tm ( ;) )

I realize in some ways G wouldn't want to do this since it may help peopl figure out their algo better, but it would also help advanced searchers to find what they are looking for better.

Needless to say, it would be easy to expand on this concept, the above was just for some ideas..

Some of this you can do with the Google API. :->
