Link Trade Question

Can Google pick out a link like this?

There is a site that wants to trade links with my site however I noticed that they place links on their site as follows
[thiersite.com...]

So if I traded links with them and my site was www.mysite.com, my reciprocal link on their site would be
[thiersite.com...]

Can Google pick my URL out of a link like this?

I’d rather not trade links with this company if my link will do no good. I would be placing their link in a prominent spot on my site and I would like Google to be able to see my URL on their page, which has a high PR.

Any thoughts or comments appreciated.

Try checking the backward links from the site then see if the sites linking to them have a link showing from the site you are not sure about.
