freshbot or deep crawl

Hi,

I am seeing a lot of
64.* crawling..
64 = freshbot servers...
what is this?
deep crawl in the past has always been from
216.*
why am I getting so many hits from freshbot then?
or is 64.* now deep crawl?
+ 64.* hits started as soon as the dance..
in the past 216.* came after the dance had ended or died down...
?

I'm getting a lot of freshbot hits atm too. I'm sure this means that the monthly deep crawl hasn't started yet, give it a few days to reach your site.

I don't expect to be deep crawled until a couple of days time as I've a site with a lowly PR6/5 index. (Gone down to 5 in the last update).

Yes.. I can see the deep crawler and the fresh bot this morn.

My new site (former PR=0) has now been upgraded to PR5 / 4 / 3 depending on the pages inside the site - 216 has been here for a cup of coffee on Saturday and Sunday.

However former pages that had been indexed in December still haven't been visited, so I assume the 216 work hasn't finished and this page rank may not be definitive.

Also the backward links aren't still done as there are referring links that Google hasn't visited so far.
