Link to home page?

If you are using shared borders with FP is it a bad choice to have a link to the home page from every page on your site?
Or would it be better to have a link to the homepage just from different sections of the site.
Most people enter my sites thru different pages and not thru the main page.

From strictly a usability standard, having a link to the homepage from each page is always a good idea.

From an SEO standpoint, make sure it has keywords in the link too :)

I guess just to throw my two cents worth into this, I wonder why you would ever have a page on your site that doesn't link to your home page! That's true from an SEO point of view but also from a standard god design point of view.
