Everflux/ What causes people to out rank?

I understand everfluz but quick question.

I understand Everflux and all of that but I have a question. I was on top for a very competitive key phrase and recently I have been replaced by two sites. Knowing my competition it seems that both of them have made no changes to their sites. What would cause this? Is it that these 2 sites fit google's new algo this month? Also a tip, its seems Google is loving 4 to 6 words titles!

With Everflux the ranking is "guessed" somewhat, so the more High PR links you have incomming the better it will be.

I do not know if I agree with this. You are saying that Google is guessing what your new PR is going to be and how many new links are linking to you? I know it takes awhile for Google to spider all links and maybe these have kicked in so it is guessing PR? How does it guess? Is this your theory? I have had new sites better optimized with low page rank beat out higher pr during everflux. What do you think?

just for the record i am talking about sites which have never been in the Stable index, they are indexed on a day to day basis, and yes you can probably bet someone who has better inbound links but it seems when it comes to completely new pages which have never been in the index, PageRank seems to be the biggest roll playing factor for the ranking.

I have over 1,000 *good* inbound links, and I disappear upon freshbot crawls...page well optimized, yada yada, keywords in anchor text of links...but can hardly find me in google after a fresh crawl...after the update I was in top 20, My site went up Dec 9...partial index Jan 1 update. Everyone seems to talk about this, but nobody seems to *really* understand it, I've decided. Any thoughts on why this is happening to me?

I came back up on last fresh crawl..but was gone for 2 weeks before that while Google was visiting me everyday....wild...Can't wait to be stable! I know, I know: EVERFLUX....grrrr...but I'm sure in the end, all those fresh crawls are good! So, trying to practice patience!
