I am considering sending a catalog to Google to be listed on their service, will the Google catalog module eventually be incorporated into the universal Google search--or will a user always have to return to the Google Catalog search page to find it?

I doubt we will ever see it in the main search. In fact if they do, I will eat my hat.

When Froogle launches big-time I'm sure Google will not want to cut off their massive affiliate revenues by promoting the freebie catalogues above it ;)

If your company is american based, then by all means do!

Even if few searchers use it, its probably the best way to find anything on your own catalogue.

I find it an amazing bit of technology and I am only wishing they would sell it for a couple of hundred dollars for intranets.

(just imagine scanfeeding all you non-digital stuff and letting Google sort it out).
