Am seeing Fresh tags for yesterday - the first time in a long time that they have been this fresh - they've either been missing completely or fron a date going back 2 days.

Remember, when you see a date of today, it was actually crawled yesterday (at least in my experience). I don't think I've ever seen a date older than 2 days old, but I've seen pages with "fresh status" that are 3 days old (or crawled 4 days ago) with no date on them.

I've also seen pages that got added to Google "today" without a date - it happens on my site quite often. Haven't figured this one out, yet. I put a date stamp at the bottom of each of my pages so I can see when it was crawled in the cache.

It is strange, though, how sometimes (as you mention) that there is a total lack of fresh dates in Google - despite the fact that there really ARE some fresh pages in there, they just aren't labeled.

Fun Stuff!

I've got January 21 for my home page but that's the only one that is fresh. It's a relatively new site with only PR 4 last update so will be interesting to see if I get more fresh pages when PR increases.
