Split off from [webmasterworld.com...]

Anybody like to discuss about the inbound links? last year, probably your site has 10 PR5 backlinks and got PR5, but for now, maybe you have to beg 50 PR5 backlinks. If everybody spend 90% time on the linking things rather than web development, what would the world like in the future? google sucks.

If google sucks why are they the most popular and also why do the Other SE's follow them?

Ya, that's why sometimes when I am working on the real good contents, I will keep on telling myself, "Hey, that won't work with google! Even if I have the best contents, google won't see it'.

So most of the time I prefer to think of genarating contents where I can get more inbound links. Actually for the whole December and January, I have been trying to figure out how to get more links and my job, most of the time, if writing email request of exchaning links.

But, anyway, I prefer google to work like this. Because I know a new site could pop to #1 too if you willing to work on it. Other SE like teoma, inktomi, alltheweb doesn't have a real trasparent algo for us to follow, so we doesn't really know how we can make it appear high in them. But googlebot is different, we know what they like, and we can feed them! :)

Google never sucks. I have a new site for a few months and google is the one who send me a lot of traffics! While most other SE has not reach my site yet!

Google are also fast can clean (not like yahoo which has lots of unnessary stuffs all over the main page)

Google also powered most other search engine like yahoo and aol = more visitors!
