While going through my logs I noticed traffic coming from a variation on my main URL. For example my main URL is myxyz.com. I have a variation of the URL (xyz.com) without the “my” for people who might simply type to fast or forget the whole main URL.
The variation of the URL has not been submitted to any search engines or directories, it is only forwarding on the server side.
According to my logs, the traffic I’m getting from the variation URL is coming from Xupiter search engine, which I’ve never even heard of before now. After looking at Xupiter, sure enough, they have my site listed as xyz.com, which is the variation.
After looking at my PR with both my main URL myxyz.com and the variation xyz.com, they both have the exact same PR.
Did Google pick up this incorrect URL from Xupiter?
Is this something to worry about?
If it is something to worry about, what should I do?
As a final note, the traffic coming to the variation URL from Xupiter started on Jan. 8th; if this makes any difference?
Thanks.

I would love to know how to get rid of it
