The consensus seems to be that Google will not show backlinks unless the referring page has PR4 or higher. Never the less, in my backlinks I find an ODP-clone where the bar-o-meter rank is greyed out.

How can this be?

The referring page is a CGI but Google caches it. The link is not straight HTML but is a CGI-script using my URL as input parameter (a little like Yahoo does).

There is something 'else' at work besides just a pr factor in showing backlinks. We thought it might be a combination of url length, and possibly a simple maximum or percentage of the total backlinks.
