Google has spent much time and money on a search algo that cannot tell the difference between a pebble and a mountain, i have put much effort into several sites to get them highly ranked and have met with some success, but a new site I am setting up has not been promoted at all has now become the #2 site for the search phrase "monotor calibration test" .
There are many good technical sites on calibrating monitors for web use but my site is not one of them , all I did was place a screen greyscale test pattern on the page.

I am sure the software manafactures for calibration software are wondering who the new kid on the block is but i just cant belive this "search engine" is so dumb.

no PR, no inbound links, maybe I should do the same for my other sites :)

Freshbot? If so, don't worry, your rankings will drop like a rock soon enough... ;)

i am assuming it is due to the title... and the small ammount of text on the page.

no use of keywords or a decription either?
