This is interesting... I get hit a few times a week by the regular Googlebot, but I think this is the first time I've noticed this "imagebot".

How often does this one come around?

Funny you should mention that, I got hit by it too earlier today. It's the first time it dropped by.

I got hit by it last night as well.

I have had a special note in my log reports for a couple of months, advising me whenever Googlebot spiders images. Sum total had been about 10 images spidered to date, but last night Google sucked up 332 images. Maybe the image search is still alive.
