My is site was index after last dance all month long I have been #31 for one of my keywords. Now all of a sudden I can not even find my site for that keyword. What could have happen? The only changes I have made the in last couple of days was I had some empty alt tags that I filled in with some descriptive text about used packaging equipment. Could that have been interpreted as spam. Any suggestions please. I know I will not see anything for 30 days or so but I need to get it fixed.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I just thought about something else I did. I was having trouble with Gbot crawling all of my links, so I took out my drop down navagation bar and replace it with plain text links. I thought that would help increase ease of my site but I just checked again and I went from #31 to somewhere past #1000 I stopped checking. Hope this brings some light on the picture....

Are you sure the site is still even listed?

Do a search for the www.domain.com

Last index was the 1st index I had been in. I think it takes more than one before your domain shows up in search. If you do a search for <the company name> you will find it. I have about 20 backlinks and I am list in dmoz. I just don't understand why for 20 days or so I was listed as #31 then out of the blue I drop off for that particular search phrase. I have noticed that some other phases have dropped but the most I see is from #3 to #21. Any ideas....

Here's what it is Derek, because it's fairly new to the index:

Everflux [webmasterworld.com]

Sites are in and out, up and down all month. It takes a little time for new sites to settle in. And it's not unusual for Googlebot to grab a page or two, then come by for more later on.
