Sites gone from Google

They were there, now they are gone...

I have several sites, all some what related. I put them up about a month ago and linked to them from other sites that I have. The next day, the were in Google, coming up rather well for thier keywords. They do not have a Google ranking yet. Anyhow, a few days ago, they disappeared from Google entirely. Is this normal?

Yep. Happens all the time to new sites. Wait for a complete cycle for Google (4 to 7 weeks), and then worry if they aren't there.

Thank you. This is what some friends of mine told me, but I thought I should pay this forum a visit and ask "The Pros".

Does anyone know of a site that will send me an email when this thing called "The Google Dance" begins?

Again, thank you for your rapid replies and have a safe and pleasant holiday.

Just check into the "Google News" forum regularly and you'll see a thread with "Update" in the title. It is usually announced on the index page of WebmasterWorld where all major items of interest are listed

Good luck!

Marcia:

That link you posted should be required reading for all new members, with a test at the end :)
